'In Other Words' is a feminist bookstore and and woman's center in Porland, Oregon.
It was the inspiration and is the filming location for the IFC TV show, Portlandia, which stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein who play feminists Toni and Candace, the fictional owners of the store, called 'Women and Women First' in the show.
The owners of the real store have now come out against the depiction of feminism and their store in the show.
