2022 Sylvia Park Station Stabbing

Sylvia Park Station in Auckland where in the afternoon of 10 th June 2022 a Train Manger on an Auckland Transport was attached.

The Train Manager who was on an Eastern Line Service was stabbed on platform at the station and fortunately was reported as having received only minor injuries and was receiving treatment at the Middlemore Hospital.

The police investigation led to disruption of services on the Eastern Line for the rest of the afternoon.
