On Thursday 20th October 2022 David K7DMJ a radio amateur from Alpine, UT reached the summit of this mountain and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 17 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of this mountain is 3245 metres (10647 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
