On Saturday 26th August 2023, David K7DMJ, a radio amateur from Alpine, UT reached the summit of this peak and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 10 contacts in total working on the 40m, 20m, 15m and 10m amateur radio bands.
The summit of this peak is 3432 metres (11260 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
