One Hyde Park (Record Breaking £140M Penthouse)

One Hyde Park is a new ultra-luxury condo project in Central London. Units start at £20M (rougly $31M U.S.). Features of the project include bulletproof glass windows, round-the-clock protection provided by former British SAS special forces agents, emergency exits which lead to the neighboring Mandarin Oriental hotel, and panic rooms.

In Summer 2010, a two story penthouse sold for a record breaking £140M.

Even with these prices, as of Summer 2010, 65% of the units have been sold.
