Former Buckhurst Underground Station (Original Station Building)

Former Buckhurst Underground Station (Original Station Building) (StreetView)
Buckhurst Station was a tube station on the Central Line in London. The station opened 22 August 1856 and closed 1892. The original station building is located slighty south from the new and modern station with the same name.

The modern station was moved to Victoria Road (a few metres from the original site).

What's left today:
The original station building still remains with a small section of the northbound platform remaining otherwise the rest of the station has been demolished. The station site can be seen from the modern station and from passing trains.
