Gjesværstappan is a group of islands lying to the north of village of Gjesvær in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway.

The three main islands of the group are Storstappen, Kjerkestappen, and Bukkstappen.

Since 1983 the Gjesværstappan group of islands, which are uninhabited have been nature reserve are an Important Bird Area (IBA). Most of the nature reserve area is the seas around the islands.metres

Storstappen boasts the largest seabird colonies particular in the summer breeding season months between June and August.

Amongst the seabirds found in the reserve are the following European Shag, Great Cormorants, Razorbills and Atlantic Puffins.
