Hjarnø is a small Danish island that lies at the mouth of Horsens Fjord on the east coast of Jutland in Denmark, Administratively it is in the Hedensted Municipality.
The island has an area of 3.21 square kilometres (1.24 square miles) and its highest point is a mere 7 metres (23 ft) above sea level.
There is a regular car ferry linking the island with the town of Snaptun in Jutland.
Visitors to the island can experience its beautiful scenery by walks along the coast or enjoy the charming town,where there are eateries, galleries, small farm shops and accommodation.
