King Fegge Horvendel was a Danish Saga King. He was the step father og Prince Hamlet whom Shakespeare made famous.

According the the Danish historian Saxo Grammaticus (c. 1160 – c. 1220) Hamlet lived on the island of Mors and not at Elsinore (Helsingør and Kronborg Castle) as Shakespeare writes.

According to Saxo Hamlet killed Fegge at this spot or nearby who lived at his estate nearby and was buried here.
