Madame du Barry was the last Maîtresse-en-titre of Louis XV of France and one of the victims of the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. She had this pavillion built in 1771 to host receptions and music events which her chateau was unable to accomodate.

It is currently a private residence and is for sale between $65-$70M USD.
