On Friday 15th July 2022 Jerome F4IVI/P a radio amateur France reached the summit of Monte Aver and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 22 contacts in total working on the 20 amateur radio band.
The summit of Monte Aver is 2745 metres (9006 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
