On Saturday 5th August 2023, Robert KF0DGK, a radio amateur from Eagle, CO reached the summit of Mount Arkansas and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 10 contacts in total working on the 2m amateur radio band.
The summit of Mount Arkansas is 4205 metres (13796 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
