On Sunday 16th July 2023, Szymon WV0X, a radio amateur from Denver, CO reached the summit of Mount Buckskin and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 25 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 20m and 15m and amateur radio bands.
The summit of Mount Buckskin is 4226 metres (13865 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
