On Wednesday 24th August 2022, Inaki EB2GKK/P a radio amateur from Spain reached the summit of Peña Forca and activated this summit on the radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 29 contacts in total working on the 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Peña Forca is 2391 metres (7844 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
