On Thursday 21st July 2022 Mario HB9HAT/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Piz Bardella and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 32 contacts in total working on the 40, 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Piz Bardella is 2839 metres (9314 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
