Protesters Tear Gassed – June 2022

On Saturday 25th June 2022 CNN and other media outlets reported that troopers had used Tear Gas to disperse protesters outside the Capitol building in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Protesters had gathered at the Capitol in the wake of the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v Wade and the right to an abortion.

The State of Arizona had an old law which imposed a strict ban on abortion but it is at present unclear whether this is now the law in the state.
