The Severn Bore - March 2024

The Severn Bore - March 2024 (StreetView)
On Wednesday 13th March 2024, only five-star Severn Bore ripped though the Severn River Estuary and wildly reported by many UK news media outlets.

Many spectators crowd the reiver banks while the more adventurous attempted to surf the the wave.

The Severn River Estuary has a large tidal range of approximatley 13 metres which results in its bores being massive surges of tidal water up the river.

Here on Street View in September 2020 we see spectators near Minsterwoth, Gloucestershire on the Severn River bank as the bore approaches.
