A Bronze statue of William Pitt the younger by the sculptor Francis Legat Chartney was erected in 1831 on the south side of Hanover Square in Mayfair.

William Pitt the younger was twice British Prime Minister first from 1783 to 1801 and then from 1804 to 1806.
