In the spirit of VGT research someone needs to check out the local sanitation dept and see if recycling (if offered) is scheduled for a different day. :) |

In Chicago, *blue* carts are used for recycling: http://egov.cityofchicago.org/city/webportal/portalEntityHomeAction.do?entityName=Recycling+Chicago&entityNameEnumValue=148 So garbage and recyclables probably go out on different days. The blue cart arrangement is fairly new. In the past, they put their recyclables in blue bags for curbside pickup. This has been on the Chicago news recently, so the streetview scenery may have been taken prior to the blue carts being rolled out. |

Well, I just went up and down the street and saw no blue bags or blue carts. It's probably not recycling day. |
