Fitzpatrick Nuclear Generating Station (Birds Eye)
The James A. FitzPatrick (JAF) nuclear power plant is located near Oswego, New York on the shore of Lake Ontario. It has one General Electric boiling water reactor. The 900 acre (3.6 kmĀ²) site is also the location of two other units at the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generating Station.

Fitzpatrick was originally built by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation - however, it and half of the Nine Mile Point site were transferred to the Power Authority of the State of New York (PASNY), later called the New York Power Authority (NYPA). The reactor is now owned and operated by Entergy.
