This mansion, in the exclusive Primrose Hill neighborhood of London was the inspiration for Dodie Smith's 1956 novel, '101 Dalmatians'. Smith lived nearby on Dorset Square and would regularly walk past this pink 4-story mansion, with her nine dalmatians on her way to Regent Park. The illustrations in her novel, as the fictional home of Perdita and Pongo, were strikingly similar to this home.
