Ancient Corinth

Corinth was an ancient Greek city located in modern-day Greece. At the time, it was one of the largest and most important cities in Ancient Greece. It had a population of 90.000 in 400 BC. However, this all ended when the Romans demolished the Greek city in 146 BC and later built their own city on the same site in 44 BC. It later became the provincial capital of Greece. Today many of the old Roman ruins can still be seen today.
