John Jamelske is a convicted serial kidnapper / rapist, who, between the years 1988 to 2003 kidnapped no less than 5 women and held them for months to years in a small concrete bunker built beneath his house. He is considered to be a serial kidnapper / rapist because it is believed he never held two women at a time in the dungeon, and he released all of the first 4 known victims after a period of time.

Jamelske was caught and arrested in 2003, after his 5th victim was able to make a phone call for help. He was sentenced to a minimum of 18 years and is currently serving that sentence in New York State prison. He was 68 years old in 2003 (born in 1935).
