Mysterious Cliffside Shack

In September 2023, photos of this 3-story driftwood shack on the cliffs of Pacifica, California's Pedro Point, were posted on X (formerly Twitter).

It's unknown who built the shack, when it was built (but is believed to have existed for years), or if anyone lives there. A series of storms destroyed the shack in the days following it's discovery. Photos showed the home included a deck with chairs, a collection of buoys, and what is believed to be a punching bag. Closest access to the shack requires a 1.5 mile to the main road.
