Stadelheim Prison, in Munich's Giesing district, is one of the largest prisons in Germany.


Stadelheim PrisonFounded in 1894 it was the place of many gory executions, especially during the Nazi period. Adolf Hitler himself was arrested in Stadelheim from June 24th to July 27th 1922.
