Suleyman Kerimov's M/Y Amadea (Seized)

Suleyman Kerimov is a Russia-based billionaire, oligarch, and politician of Lezgian origin. Kerimov has close ties to Vladimir Putin's government in Russia, as well as Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen leader.

Kerimov's yacht, Amadea, was seized in May 2022 off the coast of Fiji, as part of an effort to put pressure on Russia to end the war in Ukraine. Ownership of the yacht is being challenged by businessman Eduard Khudainatov, claiming he is the actual owner of the yacht and therefore not subject to sanctions. There are reports that, when the yacht was seized, a Faberge egg was on board, worth tens of millions of dollars.

Amadea is 106.1m and was launched by Lürssen Yachts in 2017. She has accomodations for up to 16 guests and 36 crew.
