The restored movie set of the 1974 film, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. As of 2024, this building houses Hooper's, a casual southern pub fare restaurant named after the screenwriter, Tobe Hooper.

someone should try to find the house that ed gein lived in. he's the guy that the movie was based on. it's in wisconsin somewhere

its in plainfield wisconsin..i live just north of plainfield in stevens point. The house was burned down by locals after the trial..the town dosent like to talk about it anymore tried to forget about it.

I heard that he had a secret underground cellar which he used to decapitate his victims. It's somewhere around the vacinity. I live in this area and that's the gossip. I'm sure not one to go snooping around to find out. I leave that to all of the curious victims out there.

This is the original house used in TCM, however, it has been moved to this location. I have found the original house location which is in Round Rock, TX. I have submitted it's map.
