Still a private residence. Along with Hanover Lodge (currently under extensive refurbishment) St. John's Lodge and The Holme are in the same family ownership. A residential history of St. John's Lodge, The Holme and Hanover Lodge is to be published by the owners in 2007 along with some aspects of the litigation history surrounding these properties, including the IRA bombing of the nearby bandstand on Holme Green.

This residence, called The Holme, along with the nearby mansion called St. Johns Lodge both belong to the American Truman family, descendants of former president Harry S. Truman.
The house of the American Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Winfield House, is also close by. Apparently, The Holme mansion is worth in excess of £125 million.

Also, note that above in your Description you said that Hanover Lodge also belongs to the same private family (i.e. the Truman family).
This is incorrect, as the family only owns The Holme and St. John's Lodge.
Hanover Lodge is owned by the government (Crown Estate), which has restored it to a private residence and leased it to Raj Kumar Bagri.

Because of its secluded location, this is probably the nicest and most expensive privately owned house in London. As stated above, its easily worth £125 million, although I think it could probably achieve a far higher price as all the billionaires in London would probably want it. Elena Franchuk and her husband bought a mansion on Upper Phillimore Gardens in Kensington for £80 million this February (also on this site), and it's no where near as nice as this one. I'm no estate agent, but I think The Holme could probably fetch around £200 million if it were put on the market.
