Google's cameras captured footage inside the legendary Ed Sullivan Theater, where "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" is filmed.

From 1993 until May 2015, "The Late Show" was hosted by David Letterman. Colbert took over the reins of the show after Letterman announced his retirement. On September 8, 2015, Colbert's show debuted. Previously, Colbert was the host of "The Colbert Report" for nine years.
