Ventura Raceway

This 1/5 mile high banked clay oval track is located at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. It was created in 1985. Other tracks have come and gone at the fairgrounds since the 1910's. The track has undergone renovations in early 2009 after years of being threatened by closure by the Fair Board.

Sprint cars, midgets, and dwarf cars race here on Saturday nights. Special events include demolition derbies, flat track motorcycles, and concerts during the fair.
