Wayne County Speedway

This 1/3 mile clay oval track opened in 1990. The track surface was paved from 1992-2000 and went by the name of Friday Night Thunderdome Speedway. The pavement was covered with clay in 2001. The track has not operated since 2006. Several classes of stock cars raced here on Friday nights. A 1/8 mile concrete drag strip and 300 ft. dirt drag strip also exists on the property.
