Dark Shadows film set

The 2012 film "Dark Shadows" was primarily filmed at Pinewood Studios. This is the large outdoor set for the fishing village of Collinsport, Maine.

A large pool within the set allowed for fishing boats to be seen in the village's harbor. A large blue screen on set allowed for a CGI-produced view of the ocean. The large unpainted building on the right served as the Collins Canning Company. The majority of the film takes place in 1972.

The film stars Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Jonny Lee Miller, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Bella Heathcote. It was directed by Tim Burton.
