The home of Gary and Diane Kaneb, an early-20th-century cedar shingle and natural stone house with 9 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and most importantly a dock. It needed to look like a remote Alaskan island, accessible by boat only.
I live in Scotland and have just watched "The Proposal" on tv. I thought it was a fantastic film and the locations shots were beautiful, I believe it was filmed in and around Cape Ann and Rockport, Mass and not Sitka, Alaska as suggested in the movie.
It's not very often that I watch a film that I can say was "wonderful" but this was truly a marvellous film with even more beautiful locations!
