Haunted mansion with a basement that was formerly used as a sex dungeon, featured on an episode of the TV show "Paranormal State".

The 5000-square-foot Spanish-Colonial-style Mansion was built in 1925 by the famous Dossin family during prohibition.

According to the owner of the house at the time of the episode, wealthy people that buy real estate and move onto the island have a habit of having their lives and net worth fall apart. The owner said he was no exception.

The region of Detroit that the island lies in, Grosse Pointe, was the site of a massacre in 1712, where approximately 1000 American indians were supposedly killed and buried.
