Letchmore Heath, England

This village north of London was used in the 1960 film "Village of the Damned" based on the book "The Midwich Cuckoos" by John Wyndham. It served as Midwich, the town where after a day in which everyone was unconscious all the women of child bearing age were pregnant. They gave birth to the blond haired, glowing eyed, mind controlling children. It’s a great book and classic film.
