Elvis Presley bought this house in 1967 for $400.000 and lived there with his wife Priscilla and their daughter Lisa Marie. Elvis and Priscilla sold the house in 1972 after their divorce. The French Regency, mid century modern house was built in 1958 by architect Rex Lotery. The estate sits on 1.18 acres of land in Trousdale Estates neighborhood in Beverly Hills.
Peter Morton, the founder of the Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino chains paid $9.8 Million for this house in 2012. He planned to demolish the residence. Public outcry ultimately saved the home; Morton’s plans thwarted and the businessman instead sold the property for $14.5 Million in 2014.
The property was on sale again for $30 Million in 2016 and was sold for $25 Million in 2019 to an interior design gallery called "The Future Perfect".
