This is Villa Volpi, owned even today by the counts Volpi di Misurata. It has been on sale since 2013, at first for €33 million and now for €20 million.

The villa was in the news in 2016 when Ilary Blasi, the television presenter and wife of Francesco Totti, was spotted near the famous mansion. The Italian media reported that the footballer and his wife wanted to purchase the house, which today is uninhabited.

The house, renovated three years ago, is noted for its Neoclassical style and the fact that it has been constructed in an area of marine dunes, where construction is strictly prohibited today. It was designed by architect Tomaso Buzzi in the 1960s on the wishes of countess Nathalie Volpi di Misurata, the wife of the founder of the Venetian film festival, Giovanni Volpi, 1st Count of Misurata.

The villa has 20 rooms and a 400-meter (1,300-foot) private beach.

The property also encompasses a lakefront section on Lago di Paola.
