2022 – Bus ploughs into gym building

At 18:40 on Friday 10th June 2022 a Stagecoach bus ploughed into a building in Westhoughton.

The bus involved in the accident was Stagecoach – Manchester No.19339 MXO8 UCH, an Alexander-Dennis Trident SFD with Alexander-Dennis Enviro 400 bodywork. The bus was delivered new tp Stagecoach in 2008 and is currently based at their Wigan Depot.

The building on School Street in Westhoughton near Bolton housed the gym business ‘BodyTorqo’. No one in the building or on the bus was reported to be seriously injured
