Blackpool War Memorial is dedicated to those who fell in both world wars and in subsequent conflicts. The 90ft (27m) high granite obelisk stands on the seafront close to the Metropole Hotel and is a Grade II listed structure. It was unveiled by Brigadier T. E. Topping, D.S.O., on Armistice Day, 11th November 1923.
