The singer, songwriter and musician, lives here. He is widely remembered for his 1974 composition "Please Come to Boston", which was a Top 10 hit in the U.S. for him, and was subsequently covered by numerous other artists. He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1995. He purchased the 6.5-bath, 4,148 sq ft home in June of 1994 for $463.5K, according to public records.
