My Father Cigars was started by noted cigar maker Jose Pepin Gracia in 2003. Garcia started working in the tobacco industry at 11 years of age in 1961. He spent 30 years as a torcedor (cigar roller) and blender and earned numerous accolades for his blending abilities and achieved the Class 8 ranking or Master.
