The George Washington Masonic National Memorial is a masonic memorial modeled after the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria in Egypt and dedicated to famous Mason, George Washington. Construction for the building began in 1922, dedication was in 1932 and the interior was finished in 1970. The building reaches 333 feet tall (101 meters) and cost $6 million to build.
