Knoxville Raceway brick mural (StreetView)
A brick relief sculpture mural portraying two sprint cars is displayed on the east wall of the Knoxville Raceway, alongside state highway 14. The small town of Knoxville, Iowa, rightfully calls itself the Sprint Car Capital of the World. It hosts the prestigious Knoxville Nationals racing event each year in August, along with one of the nation's finest weekly programs of sprint car races. The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum is located alongside the track.
