Richard Katcher's house

Richard D. Katcher was a partner in the Corporate Department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz from 1971 through 2009 and is now Of Counsel to the Firm. His practice has focused on mergers, acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance. Mr. Katcher has represented prominent corporate entities on numerous M&A transactions, joint ventures and recapitalizations.

Mr. Katcher is a frequent lecturer for continuing education programs and an active member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where he served as Chairman of the Special Committee on Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Control Contests.
