The Entrance War Memorial

The Entrance War Memorial (StreetView)
The Entrance War Memorial is off The Entrance Road and Marine Parade in Memorial Park, The Entrance, Central Coast, New South Wales.

This memorial is based on a large vertical mounted rough stone slab on to which are attached four slabs of black stone (3 to the front and 1 to the rear).

The memorial is immediately surrounded by a small, paved area which also comtains several other memorials dedicated to veteran's groups and specific conflicts. Of particular interest in these other memorials is one dedicated to the horses of WWI.

The inscription on the main memorial is shown below:

We that are left have created this memorial to commemorate those who fought for a cause and gave their lives for Australia. Lest We Forget.
