A freestanding Christian cross in the ground of St. Chad’s on the main road in the Cheshire village of Wybunbury.
The cross serves as a war memorial for the men of the parish who lost their lives in both WWI & WWIII whose names are carved on the plinth at the baser of the cross.
The cross and the plinth are in sandstone and the cross features a fine bronze sculpture of the Crucifixion of Christ.
The Street View photography in March 2009 shows the cross in situ however in June 2011 the cross is missing although the plinth is still there.
