Bruce Reed's House

Tidewater Holdings, Inc., parent company of Tidewater Barge Lines, has hired Bruce Reed to be its vice president and chief operating officer. Reed will be a member of Tidewater's executive management team and oversee the company's tug and barge operations. He will report to Tidewater President and CEO Dennis McVicker.

Reed most recently was general manager of Northwest Harbor Services for Foss Maritime in Seattle. Prior to that, he was vice president of Ocean Towing for Brix Maritime. He has been active in numerous industry organizations including the AWO Pacific Area Quality Steering Committee, the Puget Sound Marine Workforce Development Advisory Committee, and as a tug and barge representative to the Puget Sound Harbor Safety Committee.

"I am thrilled to have someone with Bruce's background, experience and character as a member of our management team," McVicker said Friday.
