Fayez Sarofim is an Egyptian billionaire fund manager. With a reported net-worth of $1.8 billion, he was the 428th richest person in the world. Sarofim founded Fayez Sarofim & Company, a Houston investment firm, in August of 1958. In 1997, he was inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
