Heidi Horten is the billionaire widow of Helmut Horten († 1987), a German entrepreneur who built up and owned one of the largest department store chains in Germany, the Horten AG. As of 2013, Forbes ranks her as the 4th richest Austrian, worth an estimated $3.2 billion. She also owns homes in Austria and the Bahamas.
