Howard Borris' House

Borris, CPA/PFS, ChFC, CLU, President, is a graduate of California State College at Northridge with degrees in Finance and Accounting, and has participated in various postgraduate tax, investment, and financial planning courses. He is a graduate of The American College’s course for Certified Financial Planners.

From 1965 to 1969, Mr. Borris worked at various Public Accountancy firms in the Los Angeles area and was a Show Accountant at 20th Century-Fox Film Corporation. In 1969, he founded the present Business and Family Management practice that was incorporated in 1978. In 1986, Mr. Borris formed and became President of Greenbrier Diversified, Inc., a fully disclosed California and FINRA registered Broker-Dealer. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Borris served as a member of the Board of Directors and the loan committee of Sterling Bank, and BSC Mortgage Corporation. Sterling Bank was sold to Pacific Bank and ultimately merged in City National Bank in 1999.
